Tornadoes Rip Through Ohio and Indiana



There have been more tornado damage in the United States.


Overnight, there were tornadoes in Indiana and Ohio.


Near Dayton, Ohio, with a population of 140,371, a tornado touched down causing significant damage. There were reports of injuries but no fatalities.


The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado near Trotwood, Ohio, at 11:00 pm and declared a tornado emergency. Several homes and apartment buildings were damaged.

The storm knocked out power to 70,000 homes and businesses.


Snowplows are being used to clear debris from the highways.


At least seven people had been taken to a hospital in Celina after a tornado caused significant damage.


In Pendleton, Indiana roads were blocked with trees and power outlines were brought down. Several homes were also damaged.
