Tropical wave moves off coast of Africa

A tropical wave has emerged off the west coast of Africa and is currently producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.

As the wave drifts across the Atlantic temperatures will be conductive for development, but dry air, dust and wind shear will likely prevent any development.

The last storm was Tropical Storm Alex in early June.
