Tsunami threat after earthquake in the Philippines
A 7.6 magnitude earthquake has occurred off the coast of Mindanao in the Philippines.
There is a tsunami threat for the Philippines, Palau, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Potential tsunami impacts are still being evaluated, however, if there is a tsunami threat to Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan, impacts would be as early as 3:11 AM CHST on Sunday.
The earthquake was at a depth of 32 km and eas centred 21.2 km northeast of Hinatuan, Philippines.
