Unsettled Weekend Ahead for Most of the Prairies



A cold front will push across central Saskatchewan today, as it does so, winds will gust to 70 km/h. The same strong winds will move into Manitoba on Saturday.


In eastern Saskatchewan in the Southend - Brabant Lake - Kinoosao and Wollaston Lake - Collins Bay, heavy snow will continue today. Almost 25 cm have fallen for Southend. Wind will pick up today and cause blowing snow.


On Saturday a low pressure system will develop in western Alberta, we will see another bout of snow bringing another snowy weekend to west central and southern Alberta. The snow will intensify on Sunday.
