Venus and Jupiter to dominate the night sky this month

Early this month, Venus will sit to the lower right of Jupiter in the western sky.
By mid-month, both Venus and Jupiter will be the brightest stars in the sky and will move closer together.
The Moon will be in conjunction with Venus on May 18. On May 19, the Moon will be between Venus and Jupiter and will move above Jupiter on May 20.
By the 30, the Moon will be in the southeastern sky.
