There is an area of low pressure located midway between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles.
This feature is showing signs of organization and a tropical depression could form early next week.
If this low does become a tropical depression, it could reach tropical storm status by mid-next week.
Most models show this low eventually moving into the Caribbean Sea.
The next named storm will be Emily.
