It is going to be a wet and windy day across eastern Newfoundland.


Rain is falling this morning and will continue this morning. Total rainfall amounts of 20 to 30 mm is possible. Some localized flooding is possible since the ground is frozen and does not have the ability to absorb water.


Winds will also be gusty this morning with gusts between 80 and 100 km/h expected.


In western Labrador wind chills of minus 45 are expected this morning.
