Widespread Flooding in GTA

Widespread flooding from heavy rain has crippled parts of the Greater Toronto Area.

The 401 was flooded on Wednesday night in some areas. Some drivers had to be rescued from their vehicles which became submerged.

Some roads were closed and the TTC closed Jane Station.

Environment Canada said upwards of 60 mm of rainfall was recorded at Pearson Airport during a two hour period between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.
