Winter storm continues across the Eastern Prairies


A winter storm continues to impact portions of the eastern Prairies.


Saskatchewan

Across eastern Saskatchewan snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres is expected. The snow will taper off tonight.


Around the Moosomin area, gusty winds are also expected. There will be reduced visibility and blowing snow.


Manitoba

A mix of precipitation is expected in Manitoba. Snow is already well underway in northern sections of the province. Snow will continue today through Tuesday night. 15 to 30 cm of snow is possible.


Freezing rain is possible around the Norway House area.


Precipitation will remain as rain across southern Manitoba until the temperature falls overnight.


Alberta also received significant snow over the weekend.
