A winter storm is moving across the Prairies.

Areas east of Edmonton and Red Deer saw rain and freezing rain transition to heavy snow overnight. Total snowfall amounts near 10 cm can be expected.

Along the Yellowhead Highway Corridor, snow, freezing rain, and rain is expected today. There will be snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm and wind gusts between 50 to 60 km/h.

Heavy snow will begin across southern Manitoba this morning. 10 to 20 cm is expected along with wind gusts between 50 and 60 km/h.
