Several zombie fires have popped up in the Arctic.

First thing, what are zombie fires? Zombie fires are remnants of fires that burned last year.

One such fire was discovered in Willow, Alaska and parts of Siberia.

These fires simmer underground in the winter months and reemerge in the spring when the snow melts.

These fires are not getting extinguished due to warmer temperatures, attributed to climate change.
