2 Asteroid incidents back to back

Yesterday, July 24th, with no warning, a small asteroid traveling 45,000 mph hit Earth's atmosphere over Canada. The resulting explosion at 2:44 Eastern Time was as bright as a full Moon, and scattered meteorites across the countryside near Bancroft, Ontario.

The asteroid was about 12 inches (30 cm) wide, it came from the asteroid belt, and disintegrated only 18 miles (29 km) above Earth's surface.

This meteor got very deep into the atmosphere. Meanwhile.... Newly discovered asteroid 2019 OK, just BARELY missed the planet today in a very near miss.. A 100-metre-wide (328-feet-wide) asteroid passed just 70,000 kilometers from Earth on Thursday, Australian time. It was discovered by the Brazilian SONEAR survey just days ago, and its presence was announced mere hours before it zoomed past our planet.

It flew past the Earth at a startling 24 kilometres per second, according to data from NASA. That’s 70 times the speed of sound, or roughly the same speed as the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. This Asteroid was closer to us than the moon!!! and if it would have hit us... it would have incinerated an entire large city like NY, this asteroid was a "city killer" if it were to hit the earth.
