Officials say that 22 people are dead after flooding in middle Tennessee on Saturday. About another 20 people are missing.

The flooding caused damage to homes, schools, infrastructure including cell phone towers and power lines, and other facilities.
President Joe Biden said he expressed his “deepest condolences for the sudden and tragic loss of life through this flash flood”.
The worst flooding happened in Waverly, Tennessee that had a population of 4,117 in 2019.
