A 6.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Panama this morning.
The earthquake occurred at 5:14 am local time and was located 282.4 km southwest of Arenas, Panama.
The earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometres and was felt in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Panama.
There was no threat of a tsunami.
