A 7.7 magnitude earthquake has struck 125.4 km north-northwest of Lucea, Jamaica at a depth of 10 km.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The earthquake happened between Cuba and Jamaica.
Tsunami waves are possible reaching 0.3 to 1 meter above tide level for the coasts of Jamaica, Belize, Cuba, Honduras, Mexico and the Cayman Islands.
