Another Dose of Snow for Parts of Atlantic Canada
Snow will move into New Brunswick tonight and will continue through Wednesday morning. Some rain and freezing rain is likely in southern areas. For northern sections 10 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected.
Prince Edward Island will see snow arrive on Tuesday morning with about 5 to 10 centimetres expected and snow will begin on Cape Breton Island on Tuesday afternoon with about 2 to 5 centimetres anticipated. There might be some freezing rain or rain on western Prince Edward Island. Mainland Nova Scotia will likely escape any precipitation.
Snow will arrive in Newfoundland late on Tuesday afternoon and will linger through Wednesday. Some rain is likely on the south and east coast. Snowfall amounts will generally be in the 5 to 10 centimetre range, the Avalon will only see about 2 to 5 centimetres because precipitation will likely transition to rain.
