Astronomy Highlights for June



Early in the month, the Moon will be positioned halfway between Saturn and Mars. On June 2 and 3, Mars will be near the Moon.


On June 15, Jupiter will appear as the morning star in the eastern sky near dawn.


Meanwhile, the Summer solstice arrives on June 20 at 4:45 a.m. EDT.
