Atlantic Canada May See Another Storm Thursday & Friday

The same storm system that is expected to bring unsettled weather to Ontario, will have a similar impact on Atlantic Canada.

The system will approach on Thursday afternoon and its effects will be felt through Saturday morning.

At this point, it looks like a bit of everything is expected from rain to freezing rain to ice pellets to snow.

When this system arrives most areas will begin as snow. Snow is expected to be the dominant form of precipitation for New Brunswick and northern Newfoundland, elsewhere mixed precipitation is expected.

It is still too early to provide specific precipitation amounts due to the uncertainty in the track.

We are continuing to monitor this situation and will provide updates as necessary, keep checking back. You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more on this developing situation.
