Calgary Stampede forecast

The Calgary Stampede kicks off today and runs until July 17.

Today in Calgary, the day will start out pleasant with sunny skies. By this afternoon there is a change of showers or thunderstorms. Winds will be southwest at 20 km/h at times and a high of 26.

This year there will be daily rodeos, music, food, agriculture competitions, and more.

The event has been held in some form since 1886 and today attracts over one million visitors.
