Cold Weather Invades Europe

A large area of high pressure is off the west coast of Iceland and is bringing some unseasonably cold weather to Europe.

Since high pressure spins clockwise in the northern hemisphere, the high pressure is sending cool north and northwesterly winds into parts of Europe.

The high is drawling cool air down from the Arctic.

Cold weather will continue to track across Europe this week.

Across many areas, snow is expected his week.
