Colorado Low Set to Bring Unsettled Weather to Northern Ontario #ONwx

A Colorado Low is expected to bring unsettled weather to portions of Northern Ontario today and Friday.

Both snow and rain is expected for the area. On the high end, snowfall total could reach 20 centimetres and rainfall amounts of 50 millimetres are possible.

Snow is expected for areas west of Lake Superior through areas near and north of Lake Superior towards Kapuskasing and Timmins. In this area, snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 centimetres are expected on Thursday. On Friday in northeastern Ontario, snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres are possible.

East of Lake Superior toward the Quebec Border, from about Wawa to Timmins, 25 to 40 mm is possible by Friday morning. By Friday night, 10 to 20 mm is expected near Lake Superior.
