Earthquake off the New Zealand cooast

There has been a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in the Kermadec Islands region of New Zealand.

The earthquake occurred at 11:57 p.m. local time and was located 945.1 km north-northeast of Hicks Bay, New Zealand.

It was at a depth of 10 km.

There were no immediate reports of any damage and no tsunami is expected.
