Eastern Ontario Snowfall Totals


Snow fell across eastern Ontario Tuesday and Tuesday night. The snow was from the same system that bought snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, rain, and strong wind gusts to Quebec, New England and Atlantic Canada on Tuesday and Wednesday.


Across eastern Ontario, precipitation was in the form of snow. Most places didn't see much snow but there were a couple of areas where there was enough snow to shovel.


Below is a list of snowfall amounts from Environment and Climate Change Canada, CoCoRaHS and Cooltap volunteers, and volunteers.


Snowfall amounts:

  • Ottawa Airport: 6 cm

  • Gatineau Airport: 2 cm

  • Cornwall 31.0 cm

  • Dalhousie Mills 17.8 cm

  • Osgood 9.0 cm

  • Vankleek Hill 6.9 cm

  • Toledo 6.4 cm

  • Stittsville 3.8 cm

  • Winchester 24.0 cm
