EF2 Tornado Causes Damage in Arlington, Texas


An EF2 tornado touched down in south Arlington, Texas on Tuesday. The City is about 24 kilometres east of Fort Worth.


The National Weather Service said the tornado likely had winds of 185 km/h. It was also a large tornado, at one point measuring about 140 metres wide. The tornado was on the ground for seven minutes.


The severe weather outbreak also brought strong wind gusts to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.


There were no fatalities. There were several reports of damage.
