Environment Canada Forced to Close Weather Office After COVID-19 Outbreak

Environment and Climate Change Canada has been forced to close its weather office in Montreal following an outbreak of COVID-19.


The office will be closed for at least two weeks.


There are five confirmed cases and two suspected cases of COVID-19.


The office is located at Place Bonaventure.


Major tenants also include the Société de transport de Montréal (headquarters), Fido, Cogeco radio stations (except for CFGL-FM), BMO Financial Group and a few federal government departments.
