Europe Bracing for Heat Wave

Europe will experience a heat wave in the coming days.

Authorities are activating emergency plans such as public cooling rooms and extending hours at swimming pools.

The heat wave will last several days.

There are heat warnings in place in Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.

Temperatures are expected to soar to 40 degrees Celsius, and it will feel even hotter with humidity.

Heat records could fall in France.
