Fatalities Reported After Strong Earthquake Rattles Turkey and Greece
Eight people are dead after a strong earthquake rattled Turkey and some Greek islands on Friday.
The 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck 14.1 km southwest of Néon Karlovásion, North Aegean, Greece.
Photos from the area showed collapsed buildings and the earthquake sent a surge of water inland.
Officials also said that 321 people were injured.
Damage is still being assessed.
