Fireballs Reported in Alberta and Ontario This Week

The American Meteor Society received several reports about a fireball over Southern Ontario overnight.

Several people reported seeing the fireball on social media. This is not the only fireball event this week.

Earlier this week the American Meteor Society received more than 500 reports about a fireball event that occurred over Alberta on Monday.

The event occurred around 6:23 am MST.

It was mainly seen from Alberta but was also visible from British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Montana.

Computer-generated trajectory from the AMS indicated a short path just north of Edmonton, Alberta.
