There are more than 75 wildfires burning across eastern Australia.

The fires have resulted in 30 people being injured and three people are missing.

So far about 100 homes have been destroyed as firefighters work tirelessly to bring the fires under control.

So far only half of the fires are considered to be contained.

A spell of dry weather and gusty winds are only making the fires worse.

Officials say that they have never seen so many fires burning at once.
