Freezing rain and snow continues from Ontario to Newfoundland

Ontario
A significant freezing rain event continues across eastern Canada. Portions of northeastern Ontario, including Sudbury and North Bay, will see freezing rain continue this morning.
Northeastern Ontario, including Timmins, will see snow this morning with another 10 to 15 cm expected.
Quebec
Western and Central Quebec is seeing freezing rain this morning. For the Manicouagan, Sept-Îles and Minganie areas, heavy snow is expected with 15 to 30 centimetres. Several hours of freezing rain, possibly producing up to 5 millimetres of ice accretion, is also expected. This will continue until early Tuesday morning.
Several hours of freezing rain, possibly giving 2 to 5 millimetres of ice accretion, is expected today for the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and Baie-des-Chaleurs areas. Between 5 and 10 millimetres of ice accretion is expected.
Atlantic Canada
Most of New Brunswick will see 5 to 10 mm of freezing rain. Prince Edward Island could see up to 5 mm. Heavy rain is expected across Nova Scotia, with 25 to 50 mm between tonight and Tuesday afternoon.
Tonight and Tuesday, freezing rain is expected across the west coast of Newfoundland from Corner Brook to Hawke's Bay for 6 to 10 hours. Deer Lake - Humber Valley, Green Bay - White Bay, and Buchans and the interior will see 8 to 12 hours of freezing rain overnight until early Tuesday afternoon. Across northeastern Newfoundland, 4 to 8 hours of freezing rain is expected overnight and Tuesday morning. In these areas, the freezing rain will be preceded by 2 to 5 cm of snow and ice pellets. Precipitation will change to rain on Tuesday morning as temperatures rise.
Channel-Port aux Basques and vicinity and Burgeo-Ramea will receive 25 to 40 mm of rain from tonight until Tuesday evening. The rain will be preceded by 2 to 5 cm of snow and a period of ice pellets and freezing rain.
