Freezing rain expected for parts of the Prairies

Freezing rain will come to an end today across Alberta as temperatures rise.

Meanwhile a low will develop over Alberta today and has the potential to bring freezing rain to central and southeast Saskatchewan tonight and Sunday morning.

Across central Saskatchewan, snow is expected for areas north of the freezing rain and the snow will have the potential to be heavy at times.

On Sunday portions of southwest Manitoba and the Red River Valley will see the freezing rain.
