Halloween Safety Tips

Halloween is both exciting and fun for kids. While collecting the treats, there are some important safety tips to keep in mind.

1. Do not use masks. Masks make it hard for children to see what’s around them, including cars.

2. Ensure costumes have reflective material.

3. Make sure costumes fit correctly and aren't dragging on the ground.

4. Dress your child for the weather.

5. Make sure your child is in a group of at least 3 people or with a parent or other adult.

6. Give them a flashlight.

7. Tell your children not to eat anything until they get home.
