Happy Canada Day!

It was 152 years ago that Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia joined together to form the Dominion of Canada.
Most communities will host organized celebrations for Canada Day, typically outdoor public events, such as parades, carnivals, festivals, barbecues, air, and maritime shows, fireworks, and free musical concerts, as well as citizenship ceremonies.
On July 1, 1867, Canada became a new federation with its own constitution by signing the Constitution Act - formerly known as the British North America Act.
Canada Day is a national statutory holiday celebrated in all provinces and territories and it is a day off for most businesses.
