Heat event across SE Manitoba and NW Ontario

Hot weather will continue on Monday for parts of southeastern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario.
For southeastern Manitoba, daytime highs in the low to mid-thirties and overnight lows of 16 degrees or warmer are expected on Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday, afternoon temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 30 degrees Celsius with overnight lows near 18 degrees Celsius.
Portions of northeastern Ontario will see afternoon temperatures near 30 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. Overnight low temperatures on Tuesday night may remain elevated near 18 degrees Celsius.
On Wednesday, the hot weather will be limited to portions of northwestern Ontario.
Across these areas, there will be the risk of heat-related illness, including possible heat stroke.
