In southern and central Ontario, oppressive heat is expected today and Wednesday. Highs of 30 to 33 degrees are expected. Overnight lows will only get down to about 20 degrees.

From this evening through Wednesday night northern sections of Ontario may receive 30 to 50 millimetres of rain.

Southern Ontario will also see some strong winds with gusts to 90 possible along the shores of the Great Lakes. These wind gusts may cause power outages.
