Heavy snow expected along eastern Lake Superior, Lake Huron & Georgian Bay

Snow squalls are continuing this morning along the shores of eastern Lake Superior, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

For areas east of Lake Superior total snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm are possible by Monday evening.

Areas along Lake Huron and Georgian Bay could potentially see 40 to 60 cm by Tuesday morning.

The rapidly falling snow and strong winds will cause near-zero visibility.

A cold front will bring in cold arctic air.
