Heavy Snow Expected for Alberta Mountain Passes #ABstorm #ABwx

Across the Mountain passes of Alberta, we will continue to see snow and strong winds.

There will be a brief reprieve in the snow this afternoon and the snow will return on Saturday.

In total snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm are expected today and an additional 15 to 20 cm tomorrow, bringing total snowfall amounts to 35 to 50 cm.

Winds will gust to 100 km/h this evening.

The snow will end Saturday night.

Across eastern slopes of the Rockies, the weather will be very different, with warm, dry, and gusty conditions expected.
