Hot and humid weather settles across the Maritimes

A hot and humid air mass has moved into the Maritime provinces.


Mainland Nova Scotia will see daytime highs from 30 to 33 degrees with humidex values from 36 to 38. Overnight, temperatures are only expected to fall to 18.


Southern and eastern New Brunswick will see temperatures soar to 33 degrees with humidex values from 36 to 39. Overnight lows will range from 15 to 18 degrees Celsius.


Prince Edward Island will reach temperatures of 30 degrees with a humidex of 36. Minimum temperatures will be near 18 degrees.


The hot and humid weather is expected to linger into Friday, with some relief arriving by this weekend.
