Hot weather continues across southern Ontario

A heat event continues across Southern Ontario with temperatures expected to exceed 30 degrees in some locations.

Overnight lows will be near 20 degrees and another hot day is expected on Thursday. There will be some relief as temperatures fall on Thursday night.

Humidex values will be near 40 for southwestern Ontario.

There is a risk of thunderstorms across most of the region today. Some storms could be severe with wind gusts to 90 km/h and hail of 2 to 4 cm in diameter.
