Hurricane Eta Slams Nicaragua and Honduras
Hurricane Eta roared ashore as a powerful category four hurricane impacting Nicaragua and Honduras.
The storm brought down trees, ripped roofs off homes, brought storm surge, catastrophic winds, flash flooding, and landslides to Nicaragua and Honduras.
One death has been blamed on the storm. A home collapsed after a mudslide causing the death of a girl.
The storm is expected to move over Guatemala and Belize on Thursday and could skim the southern and eastern portion of the Yucatan Peninsula on Friday before heading back into open waters.
