Lake effect snow expected along Lake Huron

Some snow is expected along the eastern shores of Lake Huron and southern Georgian Bay this evening and overnight.

A cold front moving across the region will be the catalyst for lake effect snow is expected to develop.

Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected. Winds will gust to 60 km/h and will produce blowing snow.
