Lake Effect Snow Expected in Parts of Ontario Today #ONwx #ONstorm

After seeing strong winds, freezing rain, rain, and snow in Ontario on Sunday, there is more unsettled weather expected today.

Lake effect snow is expected along the shores of Lake Superior, areas east of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.

At this time snowfall amounts of about 5 to 10 centimetres are expected for areas such as Sault Ste. Marie, Bruce and Grey Counties and parts of Simcoe County, Muskoka District, and Parry Sound.

Remember that visibility may suddenly be reduced. Use caution if you are travelling.

Lake effect snow could be an issue on Tuesday and Wednesday also.
