Large earthquake off Indonesia coast

On Wednesday there was a magnitude 6.0 earthquake off the coast of eastern Indonesia.

The earthquake occurred at 11:48 a.m. local time at a depth of 115 km and was centred 95.4 km west of Tobelo, Indonesia.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency said there was no tsunami danger as a result.
