No damage after earthquake in Guatemala

There were no reports of any damage after a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Guatemala.

The earthquake occurred at 6:02 pm local time and was centred 2 km southeast of Canillá, Guatemala according to the United States Geological Survey.

It was located fairly deep at 255 km, which is likely the reason there were no reports of damage.

Canillá has a population of about 15,000 and has an elevation of 1,500 metres.
