Northern light show possible tonight

If you have clear skies tonight you might be able to see the aurora borealis.

A strong G3-class geomagnetic storm is possible overnight as a Cannibal CME is expected to hit the Earth's magnetic field.

Depending on the weather, auroras can descend into portions of the United States. Meaning all of Canada could see the aurora borealis.

Active intervals are expected. Impacts are not expected to power systems but there is a potential for disruption for aeromagnetic surveys and directional drilling.
