Parts of Nova Scotia records nearly 100 mm of rain & power outages #NSwx

Rainfall warnings were in effect across Cape Breton and eastern Nova Scotia over much of the weekend as heavy rain and freezing rain fell across parts of the province.

There were numerous power outages over Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough and Inverness counties. As of 6:44 pm local time there were 3,384 customers without power in Nova Scotia.

In some areas, nearly 100 mm of rain was recorded. Below is a list of rainfall amounts.
