Rain and thunderstorms expected across parts of Ontario

It will be a wet weekend across parts of Ontario.

The north and east shores of Lake Superior and north shore of the North Channel will see 10 to 20 mm of rain tomorrow. Thunderstorms are likely. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall, as a result, some flooding is possible.

Across Southwestern Ontario 5 to 15 mm of rain is expected and thunderstorms are possible. Strong winds gusting up to 80 km/h may develop late Saturday afternoon and continue into the evening.

Even more rain is expected on Sunday.
