Rain & Snow Expected Across Southern & Eastern Ontario #ONwx

An area of low pressure will send some precipitation into southern and eastern Ontario today.

Rain is expected to move into southern Ontario. 10 to 15 mm of rain is expected along the shores of Lake Ontario. There will also be some fog which will reduce visibility.

In eastern Ontario, snow is expected on Tuesday afternoon. Amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected. The snow will persist through the evening.

There is also a risk of freezing rain.

Roads will be slippery, especially for the evening commute.
