Snow and freezing rain expected across northern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario

Portions of northern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario will see some more winter weather tonight through Thursday.

Across central Manitoba, 5 to 10 cm of snow is expected beginning tonight. On Wednesday the snow will shift to the north. Freezing rain is expected further south from The Pas eastwards towards Island Lake.

On Wednesday snow is expected for areas south of Hudson Bay. 5 to 15 cm of snow is expected. Visibility could be reduced at times. An area of freezing rain is possible for portions of far northwestern Ontario. Light freezing rain may continue into Thursday morning.
