An area of low pressure combined with lake effect snow will bring heavy amounts of snow to portions of Southern Ontario today.
Areas southeast of Lake Huron will continue to see snow squalls with amounts of 30 to 60 cm possible and blowing snow. Areas southeast of Georgian Bay will see amounts of 15 to 30 cm.
For areas inland southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, including portions of Prince Edward County, snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are likely.
Portions of southwestern Ontario and the Greater Golden Horseshoe will receive about 5 cm of snow today. Reduced visibility in snow and areas of local blowing snow is possible.
